Getting lost in clothes with lots of volume. These ARE the types of curves I'm looking for.

Surviving the Winter

My Winter Clothes are exhausted
Street Styles suggest a few looks to survive the rest of the cold air season

(1)I can't specify what I love about this look BUT tomorrow I'll remind myself to put on my fur, pull back my hair and O.D. on eyeliner and I won't forget the cocktail ring for a shiny finishing touch.

(2) Layering non matchy prints. The tiny polka dot and tweed combination
is a heavy favorite. I swore off plaid several years ago after coming across
old photos of me in a very unflattering calf length kilt of sorts. Vivienne Westwood's
red label plaid layering is forcing me to reconsider.

(3)Pale Accessories. What a great visual reminder that spring season is just
around the bend. It's a bit early to debut our pretty pastel dresses but a pale accessory here and there seems just right.

(4)White Dress/Black Surround Sound. Winter White? Summer White?
Who cares. I love white winterized by Ms. Betty and Milly's runway

(5)Total BlackOUT. It's been such a long season that my black clothes have faded.
We might have to buy a few new things to pull this look off.

(6)Watch with too much arm candy. Grandpa's gold watch to be exact.

Any other suggestions on how to survive the rest of March?

I spy with my little eye

Thumkin Gloves. That is not their official name of course but these grunge inspired accessories were all over the NY runway.

Ruffle my feathers

The bootsies give a winter harshness to the pretty spring ruffle. The white, cream and black palate provide a covet worthy contrast. The stylings of this shoot have me drooling.

Please take these topshop boots and walk out of that man's life.

Ten style things I want to remember
Your outfits are a gift to the world. Dress for fun and let them stare
You should always have one item that is a one of a kind
Plan ahead
Clean out your closet once a week. There is a lot of garbage in there
There IS something in there for every occasion
Always splurge, once a season
Sit up straight
Wear something because you love it, not because it’s trendy.
Have a wish list at all times.
Don’t forget the lipstick.

Bringing It Back

. Alexander Wang has made sweatshirt and sexy synonomous and I like it. For $289, I might have to wait for one of you DYI darlings to teach me how to make my own. Hurry your hearts because I WANT IT NOW!

I grew tired of the sidebar. Everything is moving to center stage. Excited? We'll start with 'What Nature Gave Us'. This month, its peas.

Interest of the week

Taken from the side bar are some of my favorite boy items: Matt Creed's playlist via nylon mag, boys being their dirty selves via paper mag and a mandible... the best part of a man if you ask me.

Dungeons and Dragons

This sexy nerd got me thinking about my own sexy nerdiness. Cardigans and eyewear should do the trick.

Cooler than me

Ms. Kris over at Bleach Black is cooler than most with her Do it Yourself dreamland white tights. Ms. Thang bejeweled and bedazled plain white tights with goodies from the Michael's Scrap Booking section. How pretty! How genius!

How to look Warm and Cool

Currently taking Winter Weather wardrobe lessons from these two lovely facehunter foreigners. The combination of fur and pink animal print has my head spinning. Come to Philly to help me bundle up...Please.
