Back to School

Back to School in September after a three year hiatus
Instead of math flash cards or bio review,
I'm prepping for pre med by trying to find the world's most

Pour it on

We layer. A tiring but still trendy look of the egomaniacal urban hipster movement. We're too complex, too spry, too skinny (and therefore too cold) to wear only one shirt. WE wear three. I love this. I've accepted it wholeheartedly. It makes dressing fun. We're creative too. The items we layer? Shirts? Obvs. Skirts? Yup. Dresses over skirts? Yes yes. Scarves and Jewelery. Shoes don't quite make sense but one could argue that a killer wedge(see post below) is a smashed version of a layered heel. Well I saw this picture and wondered why we don't layer bags. Its excessive, sure, but what in the fashion world isn't? I'm about to start this trend up and not in a "Im a working girl who carries a lunch bag, book bag, purse and gym bag during my morning commute" kind-a-way either. I'm doing it in a Friday night fashionista way. Ladies, who's with me?

A Widow For One Year with this Ted Cole tote. In the book, Ted Cole is is a narcissistic, adulterous, pity of a man. He also happens to be my favorite character. He wrote children's books and was self important enough to carry around such a spiffy looking brief. I'd like to claim it as my own.

Saturday sights

City walking on a Saturday should look like this. Warm and snugable for the day but an easy twilight transition.

Bottom layer accessories include Balenciaga patent lace up shoe and Cloe full on leather tote in icy blue. CLU tiered ruffle dress satisfies my need for frills while the Roberto Cavalli floral wool cardigan provides some shelter from the storm. Top it all off with an A.P.C. knit cap and youre ready for the sights girlie girl.
